The site //www.8march2003.com has finally released their "world changing" photographs, its blatantly a hoax but its a bit of fun. Go take a look at the photoshopped images, no way they'd be allowed at DPChallenge.

Also, go see //www.8march2003.co.uk, its a site I run (yes, blatant self promotion) as spoof of the original.

Do not be so quick to dismiss such things. Thta is exactly the kind of thinking the perpetrators of such conspiracies wish to have other think, that they are simple hoaxs. Many conspiracy theories are actualy true, they are just so incredible we have trouble comprehending the truth and how incredible it may be. Here is a great example of a conspiracy most human's dismiss far to easily:

There are many theories out there, but that's all they are.

Does anyone know of any that have been proved to be true?

Many scientists say we never landed on the moon as the conspiracy says. And they have scientific fact to back it up. Plus, there are also the photographic discrepencies

on the moon landing one you posted there was a paragraph that stated

These shots of John Young (left) and James Irwin (right) like many Apollo photos - show a lunar sky without stars 'J'. Yet with no atmosphere on the moon, stars should be visible - a fact confirmed by Maria Blyzinsky, Curator of Astronomy at the Greenwich Observatory, London. If N.A.S.A. could not hope to recreate the lunar sky, they may have opted for simple black backdrops.

N.A.S.A. claim that the sunlight was so strong it overpowered the light from the stars.

Well NASA is correct, the reflected light from the surface of the moon is bright enough to overpower the light of any stars. Also you must realize that the exposure time for those pictures was not very long since the moon surface is very bright. Even if they pointed the camera straight up away from the surface of the moon the camera would not be able to capture any stars on film. Now if they went over to the darks side of the moon then maybe they could get some stars to please the disbelievers.
But I should not have to explain bright lighting and shutter speed to a bunch of camera junkies.
