Ok, every team in the NFL has a reputation. The Steelers are known for the terrible towels waving and rocking Heinz Feild at sale out after sale out. And yes as a Steeler fan I admit those towels can be very annoying at times...especially when you have a guy sitting behind you who is so drunk that he hits the back of your head everytime he waves the dang thing and you want to shove the thing up his you know what.

But the reports of what happened at the Eagles game Sunday is just down right disgusting and one of those cases where the fans don't know the difference between team spirit and ignorance. I know that this was only done by a few fans and shouldn't be reflecting on all the fans but this is just another reason Eagles fans have the bad reputation they have.

For those of you who haven't seen the article Eagle fan's not only did the normal shouting and taunting that you have at any game but they went to throwing things and spitting on Vikings fans...one in particular was Viking QB Daunte Culpepper's wife. Anyhow not sure how well this link will work for everyone as I found it on the AOL sports page, but the outline of the story is there...

Now may the Steelers and the Eagles meet in Jacksonville...so the Steeler fans can fling the spit back at the Eagles fans with the terrible towels. =o) Oh and who's wife will they spit at ? Big Ben is single.

This may sound a little off topic, but I am so angry about the Super Bowl being held on my birthday, that I don't wanna know anything about it (I'm more of a soccer person anyway) /egotistical mode off
