This movie has a distinct 'train crash' feel about it for me....
It's odd, but I just can't help watching. I saw a cut version years ago, and just recently got an uncut version on DVD. I've watched it four of five times in the last couple of months.
I'm not sure if it's art or not, but it's 'very Kubric'.
I didn't realise it was a book as well, I'll have to hunt that down...
