I'm feeling the same way about my current entry on "3" |
I did, and I did. That 8 placed it in my top 10 or 15. I think most of the herd is too hung up on having something in focus that an all-blurry photo can never do well. Maybe you could rig something up (put the flower on a turntable with a stationary, ornate frame positioned above it), so that something is in focus. That's what I like about this one:
The geometric lines are obviously intentional and add to the composition. Don't give up!
Hey Eric, if you get the most 3 votes, do you win? ;-)

I think you should take a look at the comments rather than the score and let those be your guide.

I think 35 people just didn't like the shot. Don't they have that perogative? (I didn't vote on this so can't be blamed...) If everyone had the exact same taste as you or me or anyone here, this would be a very boring site and most challenges would have all entries tied for first second or third place...

I didn't vote on this challenge either but this has to warrant atleast a 7. Certainly don't give up...I'm left scratching my head after some results, not my photos, but others who finished well below where they should have ! :-) |

Neil, I did not vote, (have been shirking my responsibility lately), but I see this as a very strong image. AND I know why you got so many 1,2,3 scores:
True innovators are rarely appreciated or even understood in their own time. You're one of em.
