Today I traded my 10D to a 20D and took sample raw images. The raw files have a .CR2 extension that CS doesn't seem to recognize when I try to open them. I get a msg saying "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document."
I installed the software and in the Viewer Utility I can convert the CR2 files to TIF and they would open in CS.
Why would it not recognize a .CR2 file? Am I missing something?
Also the Rebel and the 10D raw images come with a THM file, not that I care about this but where is this on the 20D?
Help pls.

You need to get the new Adobe Camera Raw plugin. That will recognise the 20D RAWS. The 20D doesn't seem to have THM files. |

Thanks Anjella...
My google search found this.
I'll try this but is this still in beta?
