X was not one of the available letters. I have your spot reserved for you :) I have already added the photo you sent me.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
HERE is the revised project form, including the required release for this project.
I need for EVERYONE on the project to download this and complete the form again. You now have some different options for returning the form to me:
1. Print the form, fill it out, scan it, and email it back to me. Scan at 150dpi and save as a JPG file at less than 300k. (preferred method)
2. If you don't have a scanner, make a digital photo of the form using your flash. Fill the frame with the form as much as possible. Save it as a JPG file at less than 300k and email it back to me.
3. Return via postal mail.
If you choose method 1 or 2, please use a file name that looks like this:
O-Setzler,John.jpg
Use your letter and your name so it's easier for me to organize them.
Thanks :)
John Setzler
PS- I'll be sending this out as an email notice as soon as I have all the email addresses for the new volunteers.

I will add you to the extras list. There is always the possibility that I will need more in two weeks.

Hi There,
I'm sorry if it's too late. But I'd like to participate too.
Have you got all volunteers you need?
Thanks |

I currently have the volunteers I need. If we don't complete on this group of people, I will be asking for additional volunteers in about 2 weeks.

I got a couple more images today. The Alphabet Soup project is just 5 shy of being complete. The Picture Alphabet project is 8 away from completion...

That looks so good!
I'm just not a huge fan of the final spot that has the statement on it, though. I think it makes the whole project less marketable...personally, I'd prefer something much more generic in that spot but that's just my opinion. If everyone disagrees, then I'll sit back down!

Hmm...looking at it from a marketability perspective I would prefer it without "by members of dpchallenge.com".
Other than that, I love the font and the background photo as well as the indication that it's "An International Collaborative Photography Project".
Do you know what I mean, or am I alone here? Either way is okay with me... I don't mean to be difficult!

I don't care one way or the other on including the 'dpchallenge.com' plug. I'll wait to see what others have to say...

While I'm proud to be a participating member of this website, it just seems to carry more "clout" to me if the plug weren't there. Stating that this is an international collaborative project is quite impressive alone. Details of how we collaborated (i.e., via the website) can be given when our audience asks.
Just my opinion... |

I would agree not putting the dpchallenge plug, as i agree with what lenkphotos says but thats just my opinion i don't have nothing against the site, on the other hand i love it, but i guess just the international collabrative project would do... but this is just my opinion.

The plus side of including the website could be increased traffic to see other prints offered for sale.
In my opinion including the website doesnt diminish from the project at all. Thats just my 2 cents worth tho. |

Good point, Ken. Print sales is what it's all about, so I guess I'm flip-flopping... :-) Either way is fine with me.

Couldn't you just direct them to your prints yourself?

Maybe since these projects are targeted at children, leaving the dpchallenge.com part off would be a good idea. There are images here that are not appropriate for kids.
