I'd sell my kidneys to own one!

I suggest you read the forums, this has been discussed to death.

I intend to get the 20D in addition to its predecessor, the 10D, which I will keep as a second body. Having used both, I regard the 20D as an improvement on the 10D without being much different in the way they handle and feel. I'd say I prefer the 20 for the performance boosts and the 10D for the additional size (and in-hand feel).

The one thing I miss on either one of them is a true spot meter as opposed to the 9% partial metering they offer. To spend an additional CDN $ 3.000 for this feature (1D MII) seems excessive.

Since I got mine, I tatooed BADASS across my back.

Actually my back says "BAD" and Jacko's back says "ASS". Together, we are BADASS!

When I first got the 20D I saw minor diffeences but after shooting it for awhile then going back to my 10D as a backup camera... HUGE differences.

A kidney and a lung might be a safer option, and you have spare cash for some glass!

Have never used the 20D but people at work won't stop talking about the improvement in quality over the 300D & 10D

I got one last year and it didn't cost me any body parts, just my SOUL! No big deal, my wife already had it anyway! LOL!

It is the BADASSEST of them all. Worth every penny.

If you have the $$$ for the 20D go for it. I returned my 300D and exchanged it for a 20D after using it, 1 time! It is an awesome camera.

Sturdy, Well Built
Fast
Almost no noise on ISO 1600
Capable of ISO 3200
Long Battery Life
USB 2.0 Connection

The only Cons I have is the position of the power switch and the size of the LCD screen (1.8"), should be a little bigger.

Besides that, it's great

I love Mine!

It's a HUGE step up from the 300D. Much faster performance and lower noise.

I just recently got one because I could not pass up such a great deal...

Word of warning.... Don't faint or drop the camera the first time the "on board flash" is activated.... I swear my heart was racing the first time I heard that loud......kerrrrrrrrrrrlunk,,, I was so sure something had just broken off.

I absolutely love mine. I had the 300D and wasn't sure if it was worth upgrading to the 20D but I haven't had a minutes regret. It's an awesome camera and there's definately a difference in quality; skin tones have a wonderfully silky texture to them and the noise levels are great. Up to 800 ISO noise is barely noticeable. 1600-3200 its a little more but a lot lower than my Powershot S70 at 400!. It feels great to hold, even its noises are somehow satisfying! I used to often run out of buffer on the 300D but haven't once hit that yet with the 20D and I shoot RAW 100% of the time. I'd marry the 20D if I didn't already have a husband (who's banned me from kissing the camera in front of him) ;-)
