| OMG. I bet the guy taking the photos of the scene had tears in his eyes. I would have had a hard time not going LA riot style up in there, looting like a major thug. J/k |

| Oh dear! that's a tough one to hear. glad to hear there are few injuries at least. With that weather, the fire fighters have to fight the fire and the elements. |

Man that sux. I was going to order from them tonight or tomorrow before I leave for Cuba in three weeks.

My package got out just in time...left early this morning according to UPS. When I saw this thread I was worried!

It may not be a problem. Go ahead and call. Their Manhatten location takes up a whole city block and they also have other shipping locations around NY. This was just one wharehouse that burnt.

You know i wonder what they do with everything inside? they cant sell it i mean its probably got soot on it right... maybe a manufacture warranty? it will be easily replaced insurance but i sure would like to be around when they throw it out

I don't know what they're going to do with it...I wish I was one of those firemen though. I'm going to go rumage in the dumpster out back...be back in a while.

When I saw the news report, I took a trip over there. I dont live far from it. But the police wouldnt let me get too close.

I ordered a 200 f2.8L from B&H the morning of the day of the fire.
Hopefully this lens is stocked in store.
I must say I have immpecable timing LOL |
