Hey there,
I noticed from the forums that plenty of people have been to the zoo lately, including myself. So, I thought it'd be interesting to see how everyone got on.
Here are a few of my favourites.

Great photos! My PaD for yesterday happened to be an animal; a raccoon that was probably treed by some dogs just before I came across it on a walking trail.

Edit: used more bandwidth friendly image :-)

Atilla at 8 weeks old, is a friends cat... he decided to be extremely impish while i was trying to take his picture... and yes this pic is fuzzy on purpose.. to try to make him appear.... angelic...which he definately isnt

When I was doing some practice shot for the light on white challenge my cat Sophie thought she'd model for about a split second. I now have 2 decent shots of her in 3 months -- a record!

I went to a tiny little free zoo on Saturday. Not a lot of animals, especially in winter. I did get this deer shot though.

This cougar was fascinated by my little cart (with camera gear on it). Whenever I wanted him to look my way, I just had to move my cart a bit.
This macaw was cute - she had a thing for waving at people

I haven't been to the zoo, but have been going whale watching.
My whale shots suck, but the dolphins have been pretty amazing:

Ok I have a question I'm checking with Olympus on for the below pictures that maybe someone here can help. I shot these in RAW mode with custom white balance. Tried to resize them IN camera (since I'm away from any RAW converter) but they always turn green as below.

This happens ONLY when shooting RAW with custom white balance and if you load them to PhotoShop CS then covert they are perfect. Any one got ideas? Thanks in advance

Great shot... I love the innocent look on this guy... even though I could see him being very bad.
There are 2 black specks on his neck that are distracting can you Photoshop them out?
Wish I had something to post but have been trying to get more variety in my photo then just all animals, so I did take any recently.

Taken on Friday. I was sitting in my car reading a book and he sat down pretty close to me, gave me just enough time to slap on my 75-300mm lens and fire off a few shots.. Came out better than expected (neatimaged and saturation upped a little bit).
