a friend is looking into a printer.
epson stylus photo 300

curious of any owner/user feedback on this model

she is running mac osX

i have no complaints about my epson photo stylus 785 epx, but have no clue about mac, or this model printer.

I'm running windows and I absolutly love my 300m...actually I should say my wife loves it...she uses it all the time for her scrapbooking. This last Christmas I took it with me to church and did portraits and printed them out for everyone to pick up after the service. It was a huge hit and the quality was loved by all. (I think epson may have sold a few more printers that next week cause of it) Good luck.

thanks, it's actually a friend of a friend, so i don't know anything besides she wants to print photos. i don't know how big, how many, or anything else. i can say her husband was a hell of a photographer, so i imagine her print quality expectations are pretty high.

I don't have this printer, but in regards to her having a mac, she shouldn't have a problem using it as long as she installs the driver, which will probably be included with the printer.

I have one, and its EXCELLENT....We also have an HP photo printer too and it by far out-prints that one. They won't make a mistake getting this printer.
