Radioactive poop is no good :P

It's easier to find in the dark, but I can't stress enough the need for good fireproof gloves and a wheelbarrow.

I that's what a lot of people do... the only problem is the word domesticated !.... Its a bit hard to claim a grizzly bear is a domesticated animal :P.

I'm posting here to mark a special occasion: I just submitted the first photo to this challenge. Given that most of my other submissions have been taken within 3 hours of the challenge closing, I think it's a milestone worth noting. The only problem is that because of that I'm used to instant feedback. It might be a long week.

Oh... and finally... I can't believe I submitted something to a PET challenge!

:).

If I have petted it can I call it my pet? One grizzly pet coming up. :-) just kidding, like so many animals there is a huge different between tame and domesticated. You can tame a wild animal but that does not make it domesticated.

I disagree...getting a good pet portrait is not an easy task, they listen about as well as kids do lol. I'm sure there will be a fair amount of snapshots but then any challenge is subject to that. I am quite excited about this one, I submitted mine last night, the earliest I have ever submitted to a challenge, now I it's going to be a loonng week until voting starts.

It's just a snapshot challenge anyways...

Is not! Anyone who just enters a snapshot should be shot! Take time with this one people, appreciate just how hard it can be to capture that cute little (or BIG) one in your life. And remember, pets are restricted to dogs and cats!

As far as I know "Pet Shops" are not just selling cats and dogs....

it is so tempting to take a picture of roadkill & call it "fluffy"
or would that be "poor youric, i knew ye well"

it would be inside the box - in a manner of speaking

We've got too many pets...just stop by and you can have one! ;~)

I don't think "pets" should be reserved for cats and dogs as we have plenty of pets that are neither canine or feline...

Here is a sample of some of our pets...

and of course:

Seeing as Annabelle has made her face well known on this site,
(and no longer the cute kitten she was) I will more than likely sit this one out.

Here is a fun collection of her though:
