Hey all,
In a sad plea for attention I am asking ya'll to hit my site - //www.mikasiphotography.com - real quick like. I want to build up some hits and want you to help. Just go to the index page and check the picture of local campaign signs taken across the street from my home. While the photograph is far from studio excellent I trust it will provide a chuckle (and no, the content of the signs was not edited).

I simply don't know how it could escalate that fast.
Almost as though an auto-refresh of the page was set at every 5 seconds in Firefox or something...

uber thanks to all of you who hit the site. When I sent out this wretched plea this morning I had 362 hits. At this writing I have just over 1700. Ya'll rawk!

I hit it. But don't normal hit counters count visitors not page views?
At least thats how mine work
Now if i was really 'nice' i would write a little program to hit your site ever 2 seconds and leave it runnign for a couple days. :-)

Every once in a while I try pandering to people by putting up something really dopey - like this campaign sign pics - just to see how many hits it will get. My best so far is when I wrote this funny as hell intro to an item I Ebayed a while back - a Zoloft Smile clipboard. I think I mentioned that "you'll be the envy of the psych ward as you compusively march up and down the halls sporting this attractive piece."
That one was featured on "Who would by this?" and eventually garnered something like 17,000 hits.
