I'm selling an Olympus E-20N with a Macro extension lens plus batter grip, FL-40 flash, a few extension lenses. This is a 5 megapixel fixed lens DSLR.
I'm asking $650...
PM if you want to discuss...

I agree, the Fuji is an excellent camera.

I would recommend either the Lumix FZ5 or the new Canon S2 IS. Both are 12x zoom, with IS, at around F2.8 (or 3.1). The FZ20 is also a great camera, but it's large, and the reviews seem to favor the improvements in the FZ5.
These are as good as any prosumer you can buy with perhaps one exception. Neither is capable of saving RAW mode files (like the Canon G series). However, the wide range of zoom here as well as the IS make these better than the G series.
Just some suggestions. I read reviews of these cameras because I stay in both camps--point and shoot and SLR, and I'm always looking for a great SLR killer I can fit in my coat pocket. ;)
If he's interested in an SLR, I am also selling my Canon Rebel with Kit lens, battery, and accessories, purchased around Sept/Oct. In perfect condition. I was hoping to get closer to $600 for it, but it's negotiable. |

I was quoting optical only. FWIW the Fuji only has 10x optical and no IS. But that's great about RAW. |
