On this thread I wrote:
Finally I got my camera back.
No spots - everything clean and bright.
Fixed the vigneting.
Just wanted to share that I am happy I have my camera back.
After a little more than 3 months after this, right after the warranty expired my new CCD is fried again. This time only after 1500 shoots.
What's wrong with Canon?
I am saving for a 350D and again I have my doubts.
Hell I hate to have my camera away.
And do I have to pay 60$ every 3 months to get the CCD changed?
I am very unhappy!!!

If it's any consolation, Canon didn't make the ccd on your camera, they buy them from other people. The cmos sensor in the 350D, they make themselves. |

You would still complain to Canon, they made the camera. |

your repaired ccd should be covered by repair warranty, regardless of original warranty, check it out.
