On this thread I wrote:
Finally I got my camera back.
No spots - everything clean and bright.
Fixed the vigneting.
Just wanted to share that I am happy I have my camera back.

After a little more than 3 months after this, right after the warranty expired my new CCD is fried again. This time only after 1500 shoots.
What's wrong with Canon?
I am saving for a 350D and again I have my doubts.
Hell I hate to have my camera away.
And do I have to pay 60$ every 3 months to get the CCD changed?

I am very unhappy!!!

If it's any consolation, Canon didn't make the ccd on your camera, they buy them from other people. The cmos sensor in the 350D, they make themselves.

So who did it to know to whom I might complain?

You would still complain to Canon, they made the camera.

your repaired ccd should be covered by repair warranty, regardless of original warranty, check it out.
