Iâve had a FZ20 for about six months now. Damn this camera for eating up my time. Before I was content just snapping away and up downloading pics of where I went and the things I did. Now itâs all about finding the right place, the right light, clickâ¦click sorting out the crap, cropping, levels, curves, saturation and un-sharp masking. Iâm having blast pretending to be a photographer. I need to pay my 2 bucks and enter some challenges.
Just seeing how to go about linking picsâ¦I mean photographs LOL.

You are just one step away from insanity!
They are watching and willing you to pay, then you belong to them. They will suck every penny from you, making you buy cameras, lenses and flashes. Then you will face numerous challenges, but they tease you by giving you an update button which is meant to keep you busy for hours...and it will.
Til finally, you succumb, and there is no escape. Welcome to the asylum!

do u know registered users can enter the open(basic editing) challenges right? member challenges require the 25$(yearly membership). welcome to DPC...we're certainly glad to have ya. get ur feet wet and enter the open challenges till u can get the cash (like me)

| I just started here a week ago myself. I can all ready feel the pull Formerlee is talking about. I can't wait to get to a computer now to see how my challenge entry or the pictures in my profile are doing. Not to mention constantly trying to think of my next work in progress. |

Welcome to what will quickly become one of the most educational, opinionated, challenging, and wacky worlds you've recently visited. Since I joined in March, I've been applauded, blasted, encouraged, confused, and completely addicted to what this site has to offer.
There are some world-class photographers here (of course, I'm not one of them!), as well as a fair number of everything from beginner/novice up the ladder. You'll find here (I hope as I have) that there is almost always an encouraging word to offset a particularly harsh comment or a helping hand from an expert when you really need some good solid advice. You'll get out of this site what you put into it. And trust me, I've already seen a few photographers grow amazingly quickly.
I hope you find it as fun as I have. Welcome!
