I just received an email that one of my photos was picked as a finalist in a BetterPhoto contest - check it out, and wish me luck:

Congrats on being a finalist.
The thing about BetterPhoto that is good is the emphasis on image technical quality. Submit a good technical image like yours and it lives on far beyond the end of any contest it is entered in. That is a little different from DPC where so many folks vote down according to their personal interpretation of the challenge topic.
Good luck... yours is a fine image!
