David,
No, I haven't. On the other hand, I shoot in manual mode all the time, seldom in Aperture priority (when I am tracking some fast action that goes through differently lighted areas) and I always shoot raw, so +/-1 adjustment in exposure is always OK with me.
also, bump for the day crowd (or night, depending on the part of the world)
