What are the best online print sources people have found. I like getting my prints "NOW" so I use the digital stations at Sam's Wholesale alot...and they have an online service as well, but the prints cost more that route.

I've been happy with my prints from Costco -- upload from the internet and pick them up, or a pretty reliable 1-hr turnaround time if you go in to the store. 14-18 cents for a 4x6, $2 for and 8x10, $3 for a 12x18.

You need to be a member, and quality may vary by store.

I've also been happy with Ofoto (now KodakGallery) if you want Kodak paper (Costco uses Fuji) and want mail-order.

A lot of people here have recommended mpix.com as well, but I haven't used them myself (yet).

Ritz/Wolf camera also let's you upload via the internet, and pick them up in an hour or two from your locak store.

You're in luck that you're in California. To get consistency in your prints from Costco, Walgreens, etc., you need ICC profiles to use in PS for your images. Of course, your monitor needs to be calibrated as well.

Good luck!

mpix.com produces the best overall results for me.

I am lucky, because although my Costco uses the Dry Creek profiles, I do not -- I'm using PS 5.0 on about a 10 year old 15" Sony Trinitron monitor, but my prints really come out the way I expect them almost all the time.
