Anybody know any site/domain hosting websites that are free/cheap and don't bombard your page with ads and pop-ups?

I use iPowerWeb, which gives me:
3,000 MB Hosting
500 POP E-Mail addresses
SSL,FTP, Stats., CGI, PHP, MySQL and Frontpage ext.
This is for $7.95 a month, including free domain and subdomain registration.
I've been using them for nearly 3 years without a problem, and they are always eager to help when I've called them up with guestions.

I use Web Hosting Buzz for my new website. For $36/year, they provide 1.5GB of web space, 30GB transfer, free setup, plus tons of features/goodies. I haven't had any problems so far (granted, I've only been with them a week as of now), and they have had generally good reviews from others. 24/7 tech support as well.

This is free: Geocities - you don't get much space for free, but you get some.
Also, this site has listings of free websites: Free Web |

What about your ISP? Most ISPs give you space and webhosting space as part of your monthly service fee.
I get 175Mb of space for free, NO ads at all of any kind. Been using it for 7+ years no probs.

Dreamhost.com
Crazy Domain Insane plan
$9.95/mo or $7.95/mo if you prepay
2400 MB disk space
120 GB bandwidth
600 email accounts
75 shell/FTP accounts
Web-based email
One account can host up to 3 full domains and 15 subdomains per domain
Good plan if you have higher bandwidth requirements or wish to host multiple domains from the same account. I have several domains hosted on one of their Code Monster plans. |

I also have been with ipowerweb for several years. They've never let me down and have always been prompt whenever I placed a help ticket. Even when they changed their offer after a couple years for the same price I asked them to bring my account up to the new limits and they did right away.

//www.godaddy.com
I recomend godaddy for domain name registration and hosting plans. I'm using godaddy for a year now and I'm very satisfied. They have nice fast servers. Also they've got an useful control panel. Great customer support also.
For $3.95/month:
500 MB disk space
25 GB monthly transfer
100 email accounts
1 MySql database
And in a humorous note, take a look at their plans for TV adverts, it's worth it:
