Can anyone advise me on how to get filters for my Nikon 5700...
I've seen some packages available on the US e-bay website that include polarizer and skylight filters for the 5700, but I want to buy them separately... Any idea where I can get them from? I'm in the UK.

Cheers for any help.

Since the lens extends from the body, I'm guesing that you will need one of the adapters that allows fitting of addtional lenses.

I have a CP 5000 and the part number is UR-E5, this gives a 46mm thread. The one for the 5700 is UR-E8, but I'm not sure of the thread size. It will almost certainly be a standard one that filters are available for, at least with a step-up/down ring.

You can buy individual filters in any branch of Jessops and they will also have adapter rings should you need to step-up/down the thread size.

Your 5700 lens adapter is a nikon proprietary size. Not quite 52mm and not really 51mm. You will need to go to here //members.rogers.com/nextphoto/ There is another one I saw when searching for this, but it involves sliding a barrel in and out manually, then screwing down knobs to keep it from moving. I think that one is from //www.photosolve.com
this one from NextPhoto is specifically for filters. The Nikon adapter UR-E8 is for telephoto and wide angle lenses. I have the 52 mm adapter from NextPhoto and it works great!! And not to mention I don't have to clean the cameras lens as often. This is the one I would say to anyone to get.
