Here's one Londoner reporting in as OK... was down to work from home today. Yesterday I was in Bloomsbury Square, not far from the area of London affected.
The initial bus explosion reports suggested 3 buses but it seems only one - just confusion on where it was located. That's latest but it's all quite uncertain.

Glad you're okay.
Here's a good source for up-to-the-second info and links.

I'm wondering whether
a) the power surges leading to underground blasts AND the bus blast(s) are part of a coordinated terrorist hit
or
b) the power surges were genuinely down to some technical problem and a terrorist present in London decided it was good timing to increase panic by planting a bomb on a bus
Hope all our London friends are fine and can report in soon.

There are a lot of us here.
Manic has already reported in.
Same for Imagineer.
Wondering about E301 (who may or may not be in town at the moment) plus all the other friends that attend our London GTGs.

My wife was at Liverpool Street at the time it kicked off and her train was held in a tunnel then returned to the originating station. Two of my staff are at Liverpool Street (my offices are there). Emergency services have been lightning quick and incredibly efficient.
Terror (assuming that it is) will not work on Londoners and their cause is a lost one. |
