Just drool on his lens, it's not as noticible. |

Good luck to you dlinn, you may think that by beating your dad you are winning but I'll pass on a little secret to you...he wins too! Because he knows you got the photography bug and skills to beat him from him.
It's a win win situation.
oh, and if all else fails maybe you can hack his password, log on as him and request your (his) photo to be DQ'd lol. ;)

Sabphoto,
I'd much rather he drool or put peanut butter on my lens. |

With a big stick when he's not looking, then run.

Welcome! I don't think it's going to be that hard to beat your dad in a challenge, my son Isaac did it to me when he was five.
And I bet you don't need to sabotage dad's gear either.
IMO, scores seem to be higher here if:
--Link to challenge topic is obvious
--Subject fills most of the frame
--Sharp focus on subject; BG either in-focus or with marked bokeh effect
--Bright colors or full-range B&W or Duotone |

Welcome dlinn3! It's cool you're here exploring and learning about photography. Have fun with it and shoot for yourself first - that's the sure fire way to win. :-)
