| It seems that while many of the other challenges have resulted in excellent photographs, this one is lacking. What seems to be overall is a lack of sharpness, soft or out of focus shots. There are a few excellent shots, Sharp and cropped correctly. |

You are probably right. It all depends on the time available to the photographer and the opportunities at hand. Sports photo require a lot of skill. With limited time the most exciting image is selected rather than a more technically correct one. The lighting is also not the most ideal. I look at most of these images as photojournalist captures. Of course, I am excepting the true sports photographer that specialize in this field.
However, there are some outstanding images that rise to the level of artistry. In the end, this is the true object. |

I submitted a shot that I do not completely like, I had another one of the same subject that was better framed and better composed but I screwed up and submitted the wrong one. Surprisingly it is doing very well with my most comments ever (37 so far) during a challenge. Goes to show that you can never predict how things will go.

My shot is high end for me on the comments as well, with 25. I did find some exceptioanl stop action pictures full of action and excitement in this contest.
