This doesn't sound like much fun to me. Maybe I need to get my creative juices flowing. Sounds like a bunch of studio shots to me. Anybody got any ideas besides scissors and thread (tailor), jack, tires and lug nuts (mechanic) or a syringe and stethescope?? I guess I like the nature ones better. Any ideas???

Dear Stumped,
I'm the one that suggested this and have a few ideas but don't think I'm going to have any time or way of shooting them. This sucks lol. I really think my idea would do well (of course I always think that and have yet to hit above 5.6) but probably not going to happen. One of my first ideas was to go to one of the Quaker or Amish furniture makers shops south of me and see what I can find there, or maybe an old fashion black smith.
Good luck.

There isn't anything like that around here. When we lived more rural (a quick lived 18 month stint as I missed suburbia- LOL) I might have had a better shot at more of the farmer/rancher type stuff. Hmmmm
I hope you're able to enter your challenge creation! Maybe I'll sit on the sidelines and dream of a score that breaks a 6! ha ha ha ha

Check out the Varner-Hogg Plantation State Historic Site; looks like it might have some excellent opportunities for depicting old tools in use.

Suburbia, huh? Me, too. How about:
House painter
Carpenter
Plumber
Mail delivery
Landscaper
Trash collection
Fire Fighter
Police
Librarian
Nearly all of these could be shot "in the wild."

How about the Mailman having a tawdry affair with a housewife?

This subject is already being discussed HERE. Let's keep it in one place, OK?
