To those fortunate enough to be able to capture the effects of the incoming dust cloud from Africa, please share some of the sunrise and sunset photos (Monday - Wednesday) with the effects of this atmospheric condition.

It is expected that sunrises and sunsets will be SPECTACULAR. Please share.

Is it only going to affect Florida?

I'm a happy Floridian! I'll make a point to catch sunsets next few nights! :)

Bring your dust mask -- those dust particles actually carry micro-germs and fungus and all kinds of stuff too, from what I've read.

OK, not so great, but here they are. They were taken from a boat in choppy water. Fairly early in evening. Sunset was not possible due to tall clouds on horizon. Sky was very hazy, but IMO I've seen better sunsets here on a random day.

Roxanne,

Thankyou for posting photos. With the weather, one never knows when the next "spectacular" photo opportunity will present itself. I appreciate your taking the pics and sharing them.

The dust cloud made it this far or at least that what the weather person said here. That why I was able to get a shot of the sun and look at it with my eyes with no problem. I have posted in the forums so I'm not going to post the picture but if you would like to view here are the links to each photo.

It was fairly interesting, but our sunsets are frequently spectacular.

Nice image Grace. I especially love the pastel colors. It's true, however, that there are spectacular sunsets over the water, here, on just about any given day. Keep up the great work.
