Hello there.

Ok i have resently purchased a Nikon d70s i have been playing around with it alot but i haven't had much time to do some night shots. So i came home from work and found my dog asleep on the couch with all the lights turned out he was pretty much un cousious. So i set my camera up on a tripod put it close to his face turned the light on behind me. I set the camera to manual i played around with set aperture to F5.6 and shutter speed of 5. Zoomed up on his face turned it to auto focus and took the photo. Here is how it turned out my first night pic pretty much

i did a little editing added some contras, brightness, unsharp and cropped it. If there is anything that i did wrong that u can see please let me know i don't care what u say i need to learn more. Thanks in advance.

Very cute pic! Animals are great for this sort of stuff!

How adorable! Although the contrast seems to overcome the true color of the picture but other than that, the picture and subject is nice.

The white balance is disturbingly off on this, but I don't know if it's deliberate. It's not only warm, but yellow. As a test, I desaturated the yellow almost completely and it looked a lot better to me.
