I took these on Friday, I really like them, what do you think?

In the first I'd try to use a curves adjustment to bring out a little bit more detail in the dark part. A lot of that shot is almost solid black and would be nicer with just a bit of texture showing in it, but don't change it so much to change the nature of the surfer's silhouette. The second is nice clear shot of a single cloud, done ok but not very interesting subjectwise.
