these are just a few photos my 6yo Cassandra took yesterday. she is usually my model (as u will see in my portrait folder in my portfolio) so when i finally let her go around taking photos all by herself she decided to take a few of me and i couldnt tell her no. thanks to elli(mesmeraj) and the digital development for kids which i took both my girls to. We created a monster! as soon as her eyes opened this morning she asked if she could take some photos today after school. now i need to scrape some money together for two camera ( plus money for my dslr)....oh gosh...what have i done? the family that shoots together stays together, right.

yep thats him. and it will too...im going hunting with him this year. im just hopeing my trigger finger is faster than his! but i wont be going hunting with him until the weather drops down to at least too cold for snakes. the rattle snakes have been very active (and huge) this year. ther have been several 100+ pounders and 6+ feet long killed(one was sent to a zoo somewhere) this summer already and we are just now getting in to the hottest part of the year

Have to agree with the LOL @ your old man. ;-)

I think it's great that you've got them started and that they enjoy it! Although I'm sure the expenses will start to add up! I know that whenever my niece (just turned 5) visits, she always wants to take shots with my camera too. It's fun and she takes some pretty doggone good pix too! :-)

The only other thing I have to add is... 100+ lb. rattlesnakes?!? OMG! PLEASE don't let them cross state lines! ROFL

thats what im saying....they caught them at a mines on the other side of the mountain from me so they still have a little bit before they make it to ya....tho i could shorten the wait and mail one to ya ;) my "old man" is dying to go rattlegator huntin' but i wont let him. theres churches here that pay $100 per live rattlesnake...thats just insane if ya ask me! why anyone would want to play with a lethal snake is beyond my comprehension!

She has some talent, look at that already using the rule of 3rd's, just need her to straighten the camera out and she would be the youngest ribbon winner. :)

Actually on a couple of those the tilt looks cool, adds to the picture.

Upon first glance I thought the old man was holdin a beer:

And what kinda smokes are those. You really need to quit. Now I can complian about smokers now that it has been like 6 months since my last smoke. Believe me I know how hard it is to quit.

Judging from the photos though go ahead and give her that camera.
