Heya,
this weekend I was flicking through the channels and happened upon Baywatch Hawaian Wedding. I hung about for a few moments because just at that moment the evil guy was taking photos with the accompaniment of sinister music. He was using a Canon EOS-1, and some nice looking long lens. What struck me as odd though was the next scene where evil guy printed out his photos on an inkjet printer. Did I miss something there? Ain't the EOS-1 a film camera? |

yeah but a fine outfit like baywatch could surely have done their research? Or maybe they blew all their budget on bikini's :) |

Maybe he took his film to a local "1 minute developing" lab and had them burn a CD for him. |

You can find things wrong in just about every move made. And one thing I don't understand is why they buy most of there props (gadgets) from Radio Shack. |

Because they're inexpensive and can be made to look cool. Read the book on the making of Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey for some fascinating info on the making of props and special effects (just) before the advent of computer-generated images and digital editing.
As I recall there were some frames which consisted of something like 27 separate layers matted together. |
