I have a Nikon Coolpix 8800, and I work part-time at a comedy club. The owner of the club recently gave me permission to do some shots in the club. With the various types of lighting in the club ( stage, showroom, neon, incandescent... ), I am wondering if anyone can tell me what settings will give me the best results ?? Most of the performers do not stand in one place, and the owner has asked me not to use a flash so it doesn't distract from the on-stage performer. Any help will be greatly appreciated !! |

What I could suggest with my limited experience shooting inside dark venues is: boost your ISO up and use the smallest f-stop.
