These images were taken as part of the Freeman Patterson Workshop.

I love those... they are truly beautiful! The slight focus on part of the flower is a unique perspective and the colors are very vivid. Here is one of my favorite flower photos. The average comment says it is cropped too much and needs to be a whole... but I like it THIS way. So, .. cropped its NOT. :) Its a wild garlic blossom. I love it.

I like yours the way it is as well. The selective focus works quite well making the flower look like fireworks.

I'm glad you like them. These were from a series of about 40 - 45 shots using different combinations of extension tubes and the closeup filter. Working distance (from the end of the lens) was < 1 inch.
