I already told you that I'm out of the running (for top 10) due to a major fall from last night. It seems like everyone's score drooped like a ton of bricks :(

A .500 drop is big this late in the game. People probably looked at my image again and said, "well this kinda sucks... what was I thinking giving this a 9"

And here I thought I would finally make Slippy's prediction a reality!

yep... not too many changes from this point on :) except for the last tally :) good luck! it's a tight one alright... i'm bowing out... hey a Yellow Ribbon would be good too :) But there are too many varaiables... Nico for one... the Icelanders :)... Slippy :) Idnic... the list goes on... at this point, I'll settle for a top 12 :)

Nah. Being honest here Jason :) I bow out to you and the Doc... at least from what I see from your scores 6+... like I said, I got hit big the other day :( That was certainly disappointing. However, I might go up just by a couple hundreths of a point since it typically happens at the very last minute of voting... I won't be around to see the results as I'll be in a wedding and out of town this weekend with no access to a computer (unless the business center at the hotel is free) so my last time I can see my vote is at 5pm today...

This was a fun thread and hopefully we can all go at it again in the upcoming challenges :)

Yes, I still won't be surprised if there are 4-5 people who don't post on these score threads who wind up higher...

Still going down... I've been watching my score like a hawk. At vote #240 I received a very generous 3! At vote #241, I got an even more generous 2!

I know at this late in the game it only changes the score by about .02-.05 but every point counts. What's worse is that these masters who leave these sub-4 votes don't even leave you a comment as to why they scored you so low. I would just love to see a comment like this:

"I think this image is poorly done. Where's the conspiracy? I could have done better". I don't really see the point.

That's when I get to check their portfolio :) Aw Chit!

Unfortunately, it seems like my image is a bit esoteric that only a few actually get? But is it? I don't think so.

So what gives? Hoping for a top 30 now ;(

I know. My average is low :P

Scores haven't been low.

Heida has been pretty quiet pretending to celebrate her birthday except she's actually sending morse code to her friends in that huge country known as Iceland.

By tomorrow evening, these messages would have been intercepted and decoded by JayWalk and Doc who then proceed to downgrade all the 5 scores they had given out. Nothing higher than a 4 the Doc was allegedly heard of saying in a brief statement.

However at precisely 8:57pm on Saturday, ttreit seizes the lead by accessing all of her fraudulent accounts. Only to be overtaken by the tireless efforts of Idnic to rally her friends to vote for her image by 8:59pm.

By 8:59:56pm, voters that gave Rikki11 low scores forget and fail to meet the 20% minimum voting requirement thus boosting his average to a mind boggling...

And so the story ends tomorrow at precisely 21:01 hours!

Listen, if any of us win the blue (and I don't think that's a sure thing by any stretch), it would be the lowest blue in history by about .2-.3 points. (previous 6.4 with "Affluence")

I think the combo of speed challenge and tough subject made it a low one.

Still, I'd take the lowest blue in history any day...

I think that scores will be low on this one, but you also have to remember that there is usually .2 increase in score once voting ends due to scores being adjusted.
