The competition is more raving than ever there are so many people with an actual chance at snatching thewinners podium from others that might actually deserve it more.
I think there are to many people on DPCHALLENGE it is undoughtably the most fun on the internet but the fun must be limited to us people. VOTING ON #300 PHOTOS ISNT FUN !!!!
Dose anyone else feel the same. Also sorry i know this is current challenge but im having comp problems at the moment and this is the only place i can get into.

I'm not quite sure I understand the question. You want to limit the competition? Who is it that deserves it more than the person who gets the highest score?
DPC2 is coming soon. I think that once they have challenges for paying members only then it might cut down on the number of entries somewhat. |

Yes, how do you know that voting on 300 images isnt fun when you haven't even voted on 200? :P

I enjoy looking at a large amount shots. I like seeing the many different skill levels and approaches to the challenges.It gives rank amatures like myself a chance to express ourselves artistically and be inspired by others.
I don't think the number of entries is my problem. A very slow dialup connection and a lack of time leave me feeling guilty that I dont get to vote on every photo each week.

That's my biggest complaint too. Probably would be better if there was, for example, 20 pictures on a page and then you could "flip through the pages." Definitely would help with the loading. =-)

The ability to limit the number of thumbnails per page is one of the many enhancements that are coming with the new version of the site. The new version is coming very soon. Stay tuned.

I hope the option will exist to still show all photos on one page if we choose. I don't like multiple pages because it makes it more diffucult to quickly scan the images for a baseline score.
Just my $.02.

It is possible, though I don't remember if I did it by saying all photos on one page or just setting the limit to 99999.
