OK, I finished voting. I'd say it was a weak challenge, but there were some good shots in there. My usual ratio of 10's to entries is about 1:100. Here is my breakdown...
10 - 1
9 - 3
8 - 9
7 - 16
6 - 35
5 - 40
4 - 44
3 - 18
2 - 37
1 - 0
So, my question is. Would people really want me to comment on every picture if I was fairly harsh? It was too bad, there were a few that I thought had great ideas, but then went and had a less than perfect picture. |

Have fun commenting on the twos..... remember, challenge requires you comment on the twos. |

(For now I'm only voting on those picture that are not human-looking and do not have a face created for them.)
Here's a trick: Skip the title and first look at the picture. Then check whether the personification you sensed -if any at all- matches with the title. Otherwise it is only being forced on you to see the picture in a specific way. And I see a good number of these.

At least some get it. As it has no face and is non-human form but with feelings. Too bad, as I _really_ like this photo.
I think it is enough, if it shows any feeling to you. There is no need to be just one way to understand the photo.

I agree there can't be only one interpretation of any work. But personification should be intentional.
Edit: Self-contradictorily my own picture was NOT intentional. It was an out-take.
