OK, i give up, i cannot remember where the f&*( i have put that bookmark..
So here is the little software i am looking for (mac please os x)
I have about 200 picture... the customer is here to select the best one... i like to have it sit in front of the computer (mac 20 inches flat screen) and look at every picture... and decide YES or NO to keep the picture... it can tag or trash the picture i dont care... he will just press the button and go on and on
after the run of the 200 pics... it will keep .. let say 50... do it again... let put all the picture full screen full fast... and wait... YES or NO..... at the end it will only keep the 10-15 best..
NOW i will open it in photoshop to compare 1 to 5 and 3 to 6 to select the best one..
Anybody have this kind of program... the only thing i can remember is the big green yes and big red no at the bottom left.. but what is the name of that program ... i dont know... maybe i dont know what to type to get it in google..
Hey, you are my last chance.. HELP
Thanks in advance

I'm not familiar with the one you are looking for, but....
I use ACDSee to manage my pictures. I hit Ctrl-1 through Ctrl-5 to rate my pictures 1-5. Sometimes I simply do it on a single pass. More often, I'm picking pictures a little more like the way you described. Basically, I'll take all of my 5's and break them down even further by first moving them to a separate folder, then rating them again.

Canon imagebrowser is the program of choice to slidesho pictures and choose... but i cannot yes or no the picture... i take 4 , slideshow them ,and keep 2 and delete 1 3 4.. too complicated for a cutomer... it must come to the screen and wait for a yes or no... a rating 1 to 10 is too much... 1 or 0...
Any other idea... or i have to wait canon to come up with this option.. maybe i will ask !

When the slide show is running, you have the option to select/deselect the photograph in the small control panel at the bottom of the screen. If you make sure that you use manual advance in the slideshow, you can ensure that all the photographs that you require are checked upon completion.
Another option that I used to use was Finepix viewer. You may be able to download that. When in the slideshow, one could delete an image and move on.

Photoshop CS2 (well, Bridge, really) does exactly this.
Workflow is something like: Tag every image as a rating of 2.
Set filter to show images of 2 and above.
Run through each image, rate an image 1 - it 'dissappears' due to the filter. Tag it as a 3 for a yes.
Then filter at level 3 or above - and so on.
You can set bridge up to just require you to hit 1, 2,3 (without Ctrl, Alt, or any modifier) for ratings. Ends up being really quick and simple. |
