I learned my photography in the old film days (remember film?). People were interested in what you were doing, could they get a copy, what kind of camera, and so on. I̢۪ve only recently returned to the fray via digital and I now find people are much more suspicious, nervous and even secretive when they see a camera.
In the last couple weeks (1) I’ve been (almost) threatened with bodily harm for taking a few shots at a large open air fruit marketâ€Â¦I put the camera away and bought some veggiesâ€Â¦and (2) had a number of people bail me up angrily while I was shooting reflections in car windows (for the challenge). Is it just my failing memory of how it was? Or, is it just thatâ€Â¦(gasp) people don’t like me?
