| I live in Savannah Georgia. I'm interested, after reading another post, in entering some local photography contests, but I have no idea where to even begin looking to find out if we have any in our city. Any ideas? |

| perhaps in places that sell cameras and or develop film. My local developing store is running a contest now, or perhaps on the web. Godd luck finding some, hope you win! |

I found a few local contests in our area in a few different ways. I searched online using my state and county followed by "photo". I did see a lot of business and advertising stuff, but woven in there I did find a couple of contests. Some of them current, some as old as '97. I heard of one on a radio announcement. A friend of mine told me about another one. Photography shops are good. Finally I recently became a member of the local area camera club. They have a competition every month, so that's good for me. Unfortunately, the club doesn't meet in July and August. But that gives me time to take some killer photos for next year.
