I'm looking to buy a lens for my 7D.
I currently have:
Sigma 18-50mm 3.5-5.6 DC D (I'll get a wider lens eventually)
Sigma 55-200mm 4-5.6 DC
I have $450 to spend and know I need a prime, but I'm not sure which to get. I like to shoot mostly outdoor stuff (landscapes, cityscapes, etc) and action sports. But, some indoor shots too. Any suggestions?
P.S. Macro would be a big plus.

Not sur eif they make it in a Minolta mount, but the Sigma 70-300 APO for about $220 is very nice, and macro too.
For the $450 you could get any of hte 90-105 range true macro lenses. Not the best for landscapes...
You could upgrade the 18-50 3.5 to to 18-50 2.8 EX DC lens - TONS better optically.
If you want to expand your possibilites, what about a the tokina 12-24 ultra wide? can you get that in a minolta mount?
OK, I did some looking on b&h...now i know why i bought a canon! |

Thanks for your inputs. Think I'll go with the 105mm for now. Then work on a wider lens (I couldn't find the 12-24 ultrawide Tokina for a Minolta) and after that a longer zoom.
P.S. Does anyone know anything about the Sigma 15-30mm 3.5-4.5 EX DG??
