Ursula, I'm guessing that when someone is suspended, their pics can still show up. But when they quit of their own accord, it seems the images disappear, at least if they're not challenge entries.
For example:

Back on topic, I couldn't imagine how to find the mohawked man, but then it occurred to me you might have liked it. A lot. ;)

But theodor38 hasn't quit. He went from member to registered user (didn't renew his membership).
It's true that if a user goes from member to registered user, their portfolio "disappears", but that's because of the change from member to registered user. I believe the portfolio doesn't really disappear, it just doesn't show. If someone were to reactive their account, I believe (I'm not entirely sure, but almost) their portfolio would show up again. |
