Hey all,
I just watched a film that won the 77th Oscars for best documentary. It is about a photog who while shooting brothels in India befriended the children of the prostitutes and thought them photography. The childrens work was featured in various galleries and one was invited to an international fair in Amsterdam. Some of their pics are very good, especially by a boy named Avijit, who's mother was killed by her pimp, who set her on fire.

They do some charitable work teaching photography and trying to help the kids of prostitues and the marginalized. If you haven't seen the film, I'd recommend it.

I'd like all of us to consider contributing a few bucks and help some budding young photos out.

BTW, they were using Canon film P&S. ha ha
Here is a link to their site, "Kids with Cameras."
