"the fact that she's holding but not playing the sax shows who she is, with the sax a part of her definition of herself, and from this background she is looking out into the world. She seems possessive of the sax, as if protecting her identity (in my interpretation)
The diagonal lines work well to draw the composition together, and the low dof is effective in showing th edetails of the b/g without them being overpowering. imho the exposure is just right, she stands out enough but you don't want her to stand out too much cos she seems drawn into herself, contemplatively. But i don't like the whiteness of her face (and, to a lesser extent, her knees)"
