| I am getting married next fall, in Cincinnati Ohio. I haven't started looking for a photographer yet. Are there photographers that will take digital pictures and sell me the files for a reasonable price? I am interested in having all the picture files and then ordering a few of the more formal pictures. Any input would be helpful. Thanks a lot! |

What's reasonable? :)
We shot in Pittsburg this year and travel occasionally for weddings. What day next fall? We're pretty booked in Sept already but October is mostly open.

Well I'm not sure what reasonable is. And I don't have a date yet because we just got engaged on Thanksgiving. We were thinking Aug/Sept timeframe mostly because it works out well for fitting into other events. What are some typical price ranges?

Congrats by the way!
It depends - you can get wedding photography from $800 to $120,000. Of course, $120,000 (Gary Fong) is probably not reasonable.
We have dates the end of August (19, 26) available and Sept 9 and 16. If you guys choose any of those dates, check us out! :)
Our packages with negatives only or edited files run from $1850 to $2400 depending on how long you want us for. We would probably have a 6 hour min. to travel to Ohio, so you would be looking at around $2000-2100 or so for us.
Good luck in the wedding process! You can setup your own page on //www.theknot.com and keep track of what you have left to do, etc. It's a good planning resource.

| I live very close to there and I am a student. If you want pm me. I have worked for two different studios and I know the wppi wedding photographer of the year personaly. I can either do them for you or I know of two or three good photographers to refer you to. |

I don't do weddings, but given that I'm on the other side of the planet I'll offer on the basis that it's unlikely you'd fly me to the US to not shoot your wedding.
BTW, my fees would be $10k to do nothing.. :-).
(Bored... It shows.)

You can have all that you want for a reasonable price if you know where to look!! lol
I have a business with my aunt. Her and her husband are photographers, and I am mainly a graphic artist, but learning photography. Anyway, they do weddings for very reasonable prices. I make graphic photo collages from the wedding pics of your choice. Go check out our website!
