OK so we in the UK catch the rollover at 6:00am so we never get the chance to start these threads .....

I don't have an entry in this one but I am about a quarter of the way through the voting and I am impressed. I didn't expect industry to be beautiful. Who'd a thunk it? :)

There are some great shots. Good job all!

I don't usually post anymore, but I concur with this poster. I must have given out about 8 or 9 tens and many more 9's and 8's in this challenge, and I am not in this one but in Collections (which I am doing poorly at for a very good entry). In any case, the photos for Industrial are gorgeous, and I am greatly impressed as well. My kudo's to you all for being beautiful with it, and creative.

There are some great shots but it only took me about 5 minutes before I was sick of looking at smoke stacks. I figured there would be plenty of power plants and smoke stacks though.
As usual, I will vote the picture not the repetition of subject matter. The last few challenges have been full of repeated subject matter. They keep getting harder and harder to vote on.

If you want to photograph "industry" on a grand scale, smokestacks and such is certainly about all most people have access to, that and warehouses/industrial buildings. You can't get into or sometimes even close to anything industrial in these terroristic days. So I too expected a ton of power pkants and other stacks, and I was ready for 'em :-) Some of them are very nice, too.

WOW, I can say the competition is going to be tough on this one. There is some great work in this challenge.
