The rules have been updated in their entirety. You should review them before submitting to current and future challenges.
The allowable alterations discussed previously in the forums are now in effect.
If you find any problems (or typos) in the rules, let me know -- it's late here :)

Thanks for putting up with all the posts on this topic :) Think you've found a good happy medium point between the people who want the chance to finish their pictures and those that don't want to spiral into the mess of badly applied photoshop filters.
Keep up the great work!

filters (or non-Photoshop equivalent) maybe be applied

Also ... just wanted to ask whether 'sizing/rotating' includes cropping?
