I just want to take a sec to say that I wish I could have filled everyone's Christmas wishlist. Unfortunately, the coffer is bare. :(

What I can offer, though, is friendship, time and a sympathetic ear. I'm only an e-mail away if anyone needs help with a photo or photoshop, I'll be glad to help or find someone who can...or if you just need a shoulder to lean on, gimme a yell.

That's all I have to offer...wish it could be more!

Happy Holidays to you all...and warm wishes for a safe and happy new year!

*hugs*

Not sure if it will be of much help, but you can come with Tina and myself anytime we go out.

(See you at the party tonight!)

Thanks. I'm up for any help, tips, pointers, etc...We will see you there.

Merry Christmas all!

53 wishes were fulfilled up til today! The outpouring of giving and friendship and just good feelings in this thread and others - this is what we need to remember all year. What may not have seemed like a lot to someone means a TON to the person you helped.

To all the wishlisters - I hope ALL of your wishes come true.
To all the secret and public Santas - thank you! Gift memberships, trips, Photoshop help, website help, tripods, magazines, books - the list is incredible.

Merry Christmas again all!

Matt

(again, I will update this thread as long as it's going on - but as most of it will culminate by today, I wanted to give thanks!)

I would just like to thank Mavrik for starting this thread and I would also like to thank Linda and Courtenay for filling a couple of my wishes. I hope that eveyone had a great Christmas. I know that I did, thanks to the generosity exhibited by the members of DPC! The gifts I received from here sure beat the god-awful gaudy sleeping pants I got! LOL You all ROCK! Merry Christmas to all!

My hubby filled two of my Christmas wishes.
The Canon 70-200 f2.8L IS lens & a 77mm circular polarizer (Canon brand).

Yay - he loves me lots!

Thanks Matt for starting this list and keeping it up to date. It was wonderful to be a part of it. You've made my life richer.

Thanks to all of you who gave or wanted to give. You are awesome!

I had a request for a Sigma 105 mm Macro lens on my wishlist to Santa..but the hubby made a mistake and got me the 10.5 mm fisheye lens etc. Now I'm debating on exchanging this for the original request, or to keep this one and save up for the other.

Is it justifiable keeping this fisheye lens? I really wanted a macro lens so I could take close ups of the new baby arriving soon, and nature shots etc, without distortion in the pictures. Guaranteed you can take some hilarious shots with the fisheye but...

Any thoughts?

Hey Heather I say take it back and get the Macro and I'll be happy to send you my Fisheye.

Seriously I have never had a Fisheye but would think you'd get much more use out of the Macro.

my christmas wish list is simple,
i wish my husband's heart condition would improve
i wish that somehow i will have a way to provide christmas gifts for my 4 children right now there is no possible way this will happen
i wish that my old car will stay running through the winter so that we can make it to my husband's doctor appointments

All very good wishes. I'll wish for the same thing for you. It's all I can do, sorry, I can't do more.
