Mark - I have a coupon for 50% off RSP if you want I will PM the info to you. I know it's not a freebie, but I don't have RSP myself.

There's only one thing I'd put on a christmas wish list, and it's only because I don't think I can afford one before Bree's gymnastics comps start in February.

A Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 lens for Pentax.

I know. *sigh*

Maybe stranger miracles have happened though. lol

Matt - i've got Phat covered with his website advice.
Everyone else - this wish thing doesn't work if everyone wishes for the same $$$$$ stuff.
I can't afford a $10 battery that is my wish, so the things i can grant have to be uh, less than 10 dollar things ;)
Though it would be nice if the glass faerie and the dslr faerie did show up...

Yeah, I don't think anyone is likely to be help with the expensive camera stuff (unless we have a secret millionaire DPCer reading) so would be good to know of any smaller or second hand items people need or any help or expert advice they could benefit from or maybe experiences that others might be able to grant.

To that end, I know I mentioned old Diarmuid Gavin up above, though I doubt he's a closet DPCer, are there any UK based folks who do garden design and landscaping or are looking to get into this career? This is something Pete and I have been saving for so it's a serious question.

Annah I emailed you a couple of days ago about your wish for digital photography books. Let me know if you didn't receive it.

Katherine FYI for some reason my Firefox (V1.0.7) did not like this site?

It crashed the first time and after that it would not display anything but the top and left side menus?

Microsoft IE works fine.

I'm using IE, it did freeze once but after that worked fine when I went in was it yesterday or day before, whenever it was.

I'm willing to provide 4 accounts, 50mb each, of free web hosting for 1 year and assistance in hooking up domains, etc., (you buy the domain) for people who are new to having their own site and want to get some sort of gallery/portfolio/store started.

Merry Christmas!

My wish (although not specific to the Christmas season), would be to find affordable (can you say cheap) accomodations in Alaska for two in order that we might try to take some photos of those simply stunning vistas I have often seen on this site.

If anyone knows where I could find such a treasure, please communicate with me via email.... and I would quite readily provide accomodations to anyone visiting the Ottawa area.

Best I can offer is one of my copper-foiled pieces: //www.newfoundlandrepublicimaging.com/pages/order.html , click "To View Sample". Check my gallery to select a picture. I'll leave it up to Santa Mavrik to decide where it goes, if that's all the same to him, provided there are any takers. Please PM me in case I don't follow up on the thread for some reason. Best of the season to everyone.

Cheers,

Owen
