I've been blessed with so much - and the rest of the photo equipment will come.

Here are a few experiences I'd like:

1. To go on a scenic shoot in Utah with some of you.
2. To go along on someone's wedding or portrait shoot.
3. To shoot with some of you around San Fransisco and Napa the next time I'm in California.

Thanks.

A cheap digital camera with a viewer for my 6 year old.
A computer that's newer than 6 years old and doesn't crash every hour.
A Nikkon coolpix 8800.

I'm gonna have a look when I get home at my cokin a stuff. I'm pretty sure I have some non-original b&w stuff that came as a job lot. I'll let you know. I also may have a 64MB MP3 creative muvo. It's on loan to someone else just now, I shall try to retrieve it. Will this fit your mp3 player needs?

Let me know

OK, well now that I have done a couple of giftings - my 10 year old just pointed out that I ALWAYS do that and never ask for myself. Ok, so no Santa martyrs this year, I'll post a list.

-Old digital photography mags
-fleece cloth (I have four little kids to keep in hats and scarves!) I dont really care what the print looks like
-a classy, crook handled cane for a very tall man. (My husband has deteriorated to the point that he HAS to walk with it now. We know its about 3 years before he ends up in the wheelchair, I'd love for him to have something he can be proud of to use until then, and to get up with after).
-cookbooks
-a pair of size 9 womens knee high doc-martin boots in black. Good God do I miss mine (Sold them a few years ago).
-Books on Lighting
-fuzzy socks
-someone to sit me down and slowly explain stock-sites, how to enlarge a photo, what to send, where the good returns are and to make sense of it all.
- a CF card bigger than 512
- a reflector stand
-Cd's of local singer-songwriters (its an addiction almost as bad as photography)
-my very own custom made Christmas stocking JUST FOR ME. Everyone else in the family has one I made for them, but I'm not going to have time to make one for myself this year so I hung up a Walmart red cheapy one. It looks really sad.
-Yarn and knitting supplies, craft stuff, and/or beads for the kids
-A button holer for a 1967 Singer sewing machine
-anything for my bestfriend who is weeks away from having a baby and is stuck on bed rest
-books or ANYTHING about dragons (we have an epidemic going on in this house, dragon fever!), strawberry shortcake, GreenDay, and god knows anything PRINCESS.

ok, so most of that isnt for me either. LOL

Whilst I realise there isn't a great deal can be done for 3,4,5,6 and 9, I thought I'd post them anyway...

Mark,

Here is some snow for you.

if you pm me with an email address I'll send you the file so that you can print yourself a copy...if you want

I updated the list with your entries Jennifer - and thank you for contributing to others in the thread! I will see what I can do for your list now that you gave us one. ;)

Thanks!

I have a huge box of yarn, a bunch of fleece (and a ton other fabric laying around somewhere, and fuzzy socks I've never worn. :) I also have:
58mm filters for lenses I no longer use
Photoshop Elements Drop Dead Technique book
Ansel Adams Basic Techniques in Photography
Digital Image Pro 10 (installed and used twice - can I still pass it on?)
Quite a few programming books - unix and basic
tons of other fiction and non fiction covering almost everything under the sun, including dragons probably

What would I like to get this christmas?
A job, preferably one I like
A 77mm polarizing filter
Help building a professional looking website like Pedro's or Skiprow's
A clue on how to find space to put it on

Jenn

I can help with a digital copy of a cookbook. I'll PM you. Will do it tonight as I'm about to rush out.

Also, if you're into Indian cooking, visit my mum's website, which is free, at //www.mamtaskitchen.com - it has over 850 recipes!

dahkota MK is offering this if you have a domain or can get one. I don't remember what either of their sites look like (I'll have to look again) but I might be able to help you with getting it set up if you decide to do this.

I'm willing to provide 4 accounts, 50mb each, of free web hosting for 1 year and assistance in hooking up domains, etc., (you buy the domain) for people who are new to having their own site and want to get some sort of gallery/portfolio/store started.
