Sounds like an early morning free study. No problem for me, I get off work at 6am. So, I just need to take the camera to work with me.

Except the challenge says "4-5 AM". I'd have to assume they were gonna check time on the EXIF...

And of course in South Africa, South America, it's DAYLIGHT at 5 AM right now isn't it?

Sweet!!! That's like late afternoon/early evening for me. I do a lot of shooting during that time anyways :-)
Night shift people should shine on this one !!!

Well, I wouldn't assume that it literally has to be 4-5am on the EXIF...I think it's more like the photo should reflect that it's obscenely early in the day.

I want to see what kind of excuse someone pulls to shoot a macro of a flower on this one XD

well what if I set my camera time to 4.30am and take a shot at, say, two pm? What happens then? :P

Heck, I see nOTHING in the description that requires a shot that LOOKS like 5 AM, just that you have to SHOOT it then. The studio folks will be in fine shape here. At least according to MY interpretation of the thing :-) I may make a Dagwood sandwich LOL.

hahaha... aside from the bad cheater-karma, you can get away with it as long as there's no daylight in your shot, but astronomy checkers will be on standby to validate sun directions against known member locations as a fail-safe device.

Here's an idea for you sleepy heads: take your camera to bed with you, and set your alarm for 4am. when it goes off, wake up and then take your best shot without leaving your bed! :-P

Better yet, set everything up and put your camera on a timer set to go off at 0430. That way you can get the shot and your beauty sleep.

Wow. According to Google, it's 26F now, but it's probably more like 10.

no no, not "landscape". It should be "see what the neighbours are doing" challenge :p

well, most days I'm still at work between 4-5 am, and they frown on cameras being brought to work here. Maybe I can sneak outside during my shift and get a cool night shot of the parking lot - lol.

Yup, and here comes about 55 sunrises from some parts of the world, and to those where that time line is afternoon? Ughhhh. Hopefully they won't check data for this. I would rather "imagine" it is that time in my photo, then it actually being that time. I'm still ZZZZZzzzzzzzz, so I can get my child off to school without him being late. :0
