Please help me. I have the chance at getting a D70 with the kit lens for 699 (after 100 rebate). Why should I spend the extra 500 on a D70s? Is there that much of a diffrence? |

Try the side by side comparison at dpreview. That will give you the specs difference at any rate. If there's a review of each there will probably be a comparison there as well. |

Snap it up. There is no difference in picture quality and the differences in the design are very minor (wired remote connection, slightly bigger LCD, slightly stronger battery). |

I have to wait for 2 weeks to get the cash, if they still have it, I shall see what I can do. |

There's almost no differences. In fact, you just have to upgrade the D70 firmware to the latest version to have the same D70s image quality improvement.
However, the LCD is a bit bigger but I guess they are really the same beside that. |
