This is so cool! I'm excited and can't wait to check my mailbox for my DPC Christmas wish list to come true :)

What was my wish? I wished for my DPC friends to send me a postcard of where they're from. Just a simple "hi" or "this is my corner of the world"

Postcard on it's way to Rikki already. Kavey

I sent Rikki a postcard from Texas as well... ;) laurielblack

although Rikki's wish has been filled by Kavey, I am sure you would love to get another card.. expect one from Ithaca, NY.. my present part of the world! vikas

I would love to hear from others as well. I collect postcards (don't ask why I just do) especially from friends who are from different parts of the world. Everytime I travel, I always make it a point to send people a postcard. As a matter of fact, I'm sending bear_music a postcard when I go to Japan in a couple of weeks :)

Here's the mailing address:
4864 Balboa Way
Fremont, CA 94536

Thanks mavrik for starting the Christmas wish list thread.

I was going to make a paper airplane outta mine and toss it, but then I got curious.
469.70 miles - not even Chuck Yeager could make that happen...

As long as it has enough gas (postage) on it, it can make the 469.7 mile trek to Fremont ;)

Winging its way from Wellington, New Zealand, there is one in the post today .... worry is .. that international mail for christmas has closed so might take a bit to get there.

Strap a jet engine to it and you'd be surprised.

I'll send ya one from Texas, Rikki.
I just noticed Laurie's sending one from Texas but will send one from my neck of the woods in Texas.

I'm going to Bamako, Mali in 3 weeks. I'll send you one from there if you'd like... I'd send you one from here, but Missouri isn't all that thrilling...

I'll send one from either Sweden or Denmark (maybe both)! The Christmas stamps are cute.

Rikki
Just to warn you - I went shopping and bought the postcard and forgot it was meant to be OF where I live and just chose one I'd normally choose if sending a note to a friend - it's very me.
Sadly it's not of London, it's a cartoon and not even one designed by a UK designer, I think.
But it is FROM London and will have a UK stamp and a London postmark on it!
:o)
